    Certain moments in Dead Men Tell No Tales are not lacking in creativity. The first action sequence - if you exclude Salazar's introduction, involves Captain Jack Sparrow robbing a bank. The premise of it has an amusing punchline, and looked mildly entertaining, but it's dotted with irksome and forced comedy via Depp. His character has now, generally speaking, become a parody of itself and really it was mostly cringe-worthy to say the least.

    My DC knowledge is close to zero. I know names, general "abilities" and who is supposed to be a good guy. Saying that, Injustice 2 recently came out and I ended up getting it. Obviously it's a different continuity but playing it and finding it really quite good got me deeply interested in Wonder Woman. Her actual character in the game is mean, but ultimately, I think finally, I'm genuinely invested in the DC cinematic universe.
