Danny Webster’s review published on Letterboxd:
Tarantino is a genius! Django Unchained is a majestic, tour de force not unexpected by Tarantino. With the typical references to many films, the usual violence you'd expect in his films and of course; the outstanding dialogue.
(D)jango, apparently the D is silent, is a slave - he is freed, and now he wants to free his wife. With help from German bounty hunter Dr.King Schultz, he sets out on an odyssey of violence, gore and gun slinging action. Django Unchained is one of Tarantino's best, and that's saying something, perhaps not on the same level as Pulp Fiction; but it's certainly a fucking good film.
