--those script reading scenes-- ...I've never seen anything so meta and profound on screen before. It puts "Birdman" to shame at times. The roles that these women examine and try to find themselves gets my head spinning- in a good way. Not only do the actresses real life career faintly represent their lives portrayed in the movie, (kind of like michael keaton in birdman) they each grapple with playing roles in the stage play and struggle to empathize with them.…
this movie is so perfect to the point where you're terrified the entire movie that something is going to offset the harmony. but it never does, and in fact it exceeds any horror and combats it with the most heartfelt adolescent imagination.
dialogue is as real as you can get, making me swoon with every line.
so incredibly adorable.
