Dan Owen’s review published on Letterboxd :
It's sort of like Veep meets Sgt. Bilko (the Steven Martin movie). There are some insightful moments and clever commentary on the foolhardiness of the US occupation of Afghanistan during the Obama years, but so much of it's undone by bad pacing, a terrible first half-hour that will turn many people off, and Brad Pitt's insane decision to make his character a thin caricature with a funny run.
It also seems like Netflix condensed a season of television into this movie, so it feels overstuffed with ideas and characters... that you're rarely very interested in.
The last shot got the biggest laugh from me.
