Dan Murta’s review published on Letterboxd:
I personally consider The Exorcist to be the best horror movie of all time and, therefore, one of the best movies ever made. Still, I have missed so many of his films I can't actually explain why. Take Sorcerer for instance. It took me so long to give this a go I kind of hate myself for it.
I wasn't particularly engaged by the first act, which pretty much sets up those characters in that particular situation. But as the film progresses, it follows such an insane road (sort of literally) I was on the edge of my seat like I hadn't in a long time. The crossing bridge sequence has got to be the single most suspenseful and intense scene of cinema's history. Now it's time to check Cruising.
