    Hey Shaun,

This is well-paced, well acted, and tells this important story very well with likeable leads. Casting seemed to be spot on, and this never overdoes it with its portrayal of racism like some other films have (like making it seem over dramatised, whilst this does it very realistically).
Yet, for the most part this is a VERY repetitive film that tells this story in a very straight forward manner that leads it to becoming quite plain and generic in regards to the tropes of a true story picture.

A solid film with heart, but nothing truly unique.

    Hey Shaun,

This franchise is honestly so stupid and I effing hate it!

Yes, this is shot wonderfully, has awesome lighting cues, and good action. But frankly that's it!

Acting is fine and muted (Keanu, Halle) to poor and awkward (that sushi chef guy and the bald lady), with very few people having any character. And we are given literally no character development if I'm not mistaken.

The plot consists purely of running, begging for help, shooting, fighting, running, asking…
