    What starts off as a little pleasing, but mostly frivolous lark elevates itself greatly into a confounding, yet campy and ridiculous delight. Especially after Richard Benjamin and James Mason most of all start to take over the proceedings and become the detectives I was craving. Rian Johnson was most inspired by this for Glass Onion, and while at first, he'd clearly bettered the concept, this honestly may have the better and loopier second-half twist. Go figure.

    Norman Bates should have written more. Absolutely died at the line "Little child molester. As opposed to big child molester."

    Though I didn't think it was quite her There Will Be Blood that I'd sort of been hearing it compared to (which is what was selling me to it even harder than I already was,) it is definitely her Daniel Plainview.
