don’t do anything i wouldn’t do.. and that gives you a lot of leeway
cracks with a whip-smart script and two commanding lead performances. if the anti-hero wasn’t born with sidney falco, tony curtis sure made it hard to follow. the lights of new york are scintillating as the background to success’ sleazy and unforgiving awfulness, and man does it look great.
