Dario Habulin’s review published on Letterboxd:
Ran is to many people Kurosawa definitive movie and you can say a film to which his entire carrere has leaded to .
But to me personaly this thing just doesnt leave me in wow feeling like for example Seven Samurai did but still Ran is work worthy of great study and tehnical work of Master Akira .
Story was told in good way and it was easy to put my whole attention towards it during entire runtime .
Also some lines expecely towards end carry some hard messages that showcase true nature of mankind .
Direction is strong ,performances are worthy of awards while use of colors here is brilliant .
If only film effected me in more deeper way then it actually did then I would grade it even higher .
