This movie puts some British social realism films into sharp perspective, and I found myself longing for someone to just swear a bit or set fire to an abandoned car. I didn't know the story and did find myself confused with some of the characters relationships with one another. However, the performances are excellent especially Daniel Henshall who proves to be the most terrifyingly cuddly soft faced monster since Mr Stay Puft.
