Good Time

Good Time ★★★★

Good Time is probably one of the more adrenaline-rush movies that I've seen. The first 30-40 minutes are absolutely excellent at establishing tone, pace, and character - Robert Pattinson is surprisingly good in this and delivers an absolutely electrifying performance, with Benny Safdie, one of the directors and the actor who plays the mentally handicapped brother, not far behind. Towards the middle, the film feels like it's slightly slowing down, but as soon as things kick back into gear, the film doesn't forget how energy-packed it was towards the beginning. There's plenty it offers in terms of quality and substance as well - not all of it is style, and there are moments when this film goes absolutely above and beyond. I had a blast watching this, and I don't doubt most people will as well. See it, it's indeed a Good Time.

8/10.
