  As with most proto-slashers, this doesn’t tick the right boxes for me. At all. 
  The premise feels more spoofy than from an actual horror script, the technical work is laughable and the kills are nonexistent. Only the (sadly way too rarely shown) terrible arm prop is worth it’s time. 

  Now the only remaining question is: what was that Wichtel-Message supposed to mean?

  I have to admit that there is quite a bit of well done social commentary in this, even though I’m not the biggest fan of the obvious metaphors in use. I understand what Pollack tried to go for and deeply respect his choice to focus on well written characters to build emotional connection.

  I can't stress this enough… watch it!
  I normally don't ask for much but I really need a favour from you (yes YOU). Go and watch it and if you can't take it, then it probably is a sign... a sign that you and everyone else should stop supporting is slaughter-fest!
  I would say that the scenes shown in this movie are inhuman but sadly they are the most human'isch thing I've seen in quite some time.
