Kamala is always fun, and I think I liked the core story better than ant man.
Not a fan of the villain though, the whole threat seemed pretty slim and tacked onto a more interesting personal story between the three of them.
Half watched this while coding.
As a standalone movie it was inconsistent. Not scary enough or funny enough to be a horror-comedy, but tried at both. And it spent a lonnngg time trying.
As a sequel, it didn't have that special something that the first one did. The first one wasn't perfect, but it felt like an old Amblin flick. Fun, heartwarming, and maybe scary if I was 10.

- lots of fun, moves quicker than I'm used to for these space horror movies
- goes darker than I expected, and loved that it did so
- has some really poor decision making, but less than I'm used to in these kinds of movies
