Haven't had a theatre experience like this since Fury Road. Visuals tailored to inspire awe, wonder and fear. Audio to back it up.
Wild ride.

Kamala is always fun, and I think I liked the core story better than ant man.
Not a fan of the villain though, the whole threat seemed pretty slim and tacked onto a more interesting personal story between the three of them.
Half watched this while coding.
Very power-rangers plus feudal mechs with minis for special effects and the occasional heavy tron influence.
I had a lot of fun with this. It's bad, but a fun bad with enough bad weird shit to that it's fun to watch with others.
I guess I'm saying don't watch it sober, don't watch it alone.
Also woof at the cowriter. There are two slurs in the movie, and it seems the writer wrote them for himself.
Milo was completely absorbed, but also fairly tired. I don't think I have seen this one nearly as much as he first.
Milo go through this whole thing. He was scared of the abominable snowman, "stop the movie stop the movie!" And I had to spoil the movie for him to calm down. I think he'll ask for it again though!
Never got around to this. I thought it was supposed to be tense?
I still enjoyed it but it was different from what people described. Much more of a focus on the relationships.
I wonder if my opinion is affected by the fact that the claim that it was true has been put into doubt.
Fun concept.
Negatives: the comedy feels out of place, and the direct literary references were pretty distracting.
Positives: I think they did a good job introducing magic as a metaphor, and since nothing like this exists, I definitely would rather have this than nothing.
I have no idea how someone got this movie made in '91.
