With a view to adding a little more structure to my movie watching in 2014, i decided to try and work through entire bodies of work, one at a time. First up is Jean Claude Van Damme, mainly because he's everything man was meant to be, and also because he's an action star i really enjoy watching, not without moments of subtle humanity and existential doubt riddled amongst the hail of kicks and punches. This list is a running ranking of all his films i've seen, which i will update throughout the year.
