The Good, The Bad, The Weird 2008
What a fucking ride man. Immediately, from the very first scene, this film is 100% on and you either fuck with it or you don't. Every scene, every gunfight and every location is just so vibrant and full of life and colour, that you can't help but be invested in it all, even going full Mad Max: Fury Road at the end. The 3 main actors also absolutely killed it in their roles, especially Lee Byung-Hun, who is so over…

Cure 1997
God fucking damn it, it's been a while since any movie has left me in a state of pure awe and confusion like this one, to the point where I'm just staring at the black screen after the credits rolled for 5 minutes not knowing what to feel or think. The Tale of the Princess Kaguya 2013
That last sequence has to be one of the most devastatingly beautiful things, I've ever seen in a movie. Literally made me bawl my fucking eyes out like I haven't been able to in a long time. It's almost impossible to say with a lineup like this, but this might be Ghibli's most beautiful to me, the phrase "every frame a painting", has never been this accurate.

The Batman 2022
It's soooo edgy omg I love it. I'd say this is everything I expected and wanted from this, Robert Pattinson is definitely my favorite Batman to date. Also Paul Dano absolutely murdered his role.

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance 2002
Suffering the movie. No winners, just loser. No catharsis, just unheard screams of pain to the backdrop of the serene countryside of South Korea. Has to be Wook's grimmest film yet for me, and that's saying something.

Enemy 2013
From the first shot of Enemy, there is something in the air, just something inexplicably wrong with the city, from the colour pallate to the empty streets, it's almost dystopian at times. It's that alien feeling, that keeps getting stronger and stronger and it's what makes the film so interesting and captivating for me. Definitely the most unique Villeneuve so far and probably my favorite too.
