Letterboxd — Your life in film

This movie shines a light on the dark diamond industry.
While watching the movie you can really see how the Safdie Brothers were influenced by growing up with a father who works in the diamond district. Some scenes, especially with the kids, seem like they have been lifted directly from their childhood diaries (I hope not all of them).

Due it's fast pacing, quick scene changes and hectic conversations my heart literally pounded like I was going on a rollercoster…
