Filmmaker Joel Coen has a great quote stating the most important part of directing is tone management. If I were going off that quote alone Suicide Squad would fall flat on it’s face. Suicide Squad marks yet another really disappointing chapter in DC’s cinematic universe. The film doesn’t function as a movie as much as it does a product. A product with an identity crisis.
