    Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

I’m not really a fan of the Askewniverse but this movie was surprisingly..... ok?

It was nothing great and has a lotttt of cringey jokes but I didn’t hate watching it and that’s saying something.

Kevin Smith’s daughter is also pretty great and I’d like to see her in more stuff where she can shine.

  • About Time

    About Time

Pretty average as a whole although the third act does have some great moments

  • Hubie Halloween

    Hubie Halloween

The best thing I can say about Hubie Halloween is that Adam Sandler is actually trying and it is almost funny a couple of times

  • Amy

This movie film is probably the most impactful piece of work I have ever seen. As I said in my original review I had no interest in Amy Winehouse before watching this, I decided to give it a go  based on the good words of one comment I saw on facebook.

Somehow though, I still think about this movie almost everyday. A misunderstood and tortured soul that we as a society collectively turned our backs on and instead turned in to a walking headline factory that we could laugh at.

    A real modern day tragedy

    RIP Amy

  • Nightcrawler

It should go without saying at this point but this movie slaps

If you don’t like this movie I’m very sorry but Its out of my control, I don’t respect your opinion

I’m kidding, but Nightcrawler is great and you should watch it now

  • Eastern Promises

    Eastern Promises

Everything in this movie is done extremely well, from Vigo Mortensen’s excellent performance to Cronenberg's masterful direction.

I was going to give this movie a 4.5 but everything in the end wrapped up just a little bit too neatly for my liking

  • Richard Jewell

    Richard Jewell

So no one was gonna tell me that Paul Walter Hauser gave the best male performance of 2019 and didn’t even get nominated?

Easily Eastwood’s best directorial effort since Million Dollar Baby and I wish it garnered more attention, particularly regarding the excellent preformances from just about everybody involved

Found this to be quite hard to watch at times and actually impacted me quite a bit which I was not expecting

Highly recommend  checking this one out and not letting Eastwood’s recent trail of duds put you off

  • Bad Teacher

    Bad Teacher

How the fuck did Jake Kasdan follow up the MASTERPIECE that is Walk Hard: A Dewy Cox Story with this??????

It’s not the worst thing ever but go watch Walk Hard instead

  • Little Women

    Little Women

I had quite literally 0 interest in this movie at all but I was pleasantly surprised

  • Class Action Park

    Class Action Park

The fact that this was even a real place proves that art really does imitate life more than we’d care to admit

Equal parts exhilarating and tragic this was a pretty interesting watch and way better than that shitty Johnny Knoxville movie that came out recently

  • The Translators

    The Translators

French Now You See Me with all of the enjoyment sucked out

  • Paddington 2

    Paddington 2

    Absolutely wonderful through and through

One of the rare children’s films where the adults will be able to derive as much if not more enjoyment than kids.

Clever, funny and heartwarming Paddington 2 certainly stands amongst the upper echelon  of children’s films
