Does Joseph Gordon Levitt demand to only do movies with great soundtracks?
Phenomenal on every level. Mike Mills has earned his spot amongst Christopher Nolan and others as a great director with a primary focus on time in the narrative. Mills creates his own universe in his movies, and it’s truly something to behold. Not to mention the subtlety with which the themes are handled. His characters are so intimate and yet distant to the viewer; the unique combo of which leads to a magical viewing experience. His sense of history and its influence on context to a narrative is also amazing, and his visual style of expressing it even better.
