I imagine I would have liked this quite a bit as a pre-teen watching it on TV.

The director mentioned in the TIFF Q&A that a higher up at the U.S. Bureau of Counterterrorism was their technical advisor on the film, and was listed in the credits as “Anonymous.” Make of that what you will!

I wondered if this would be as racist as I’d heard. Turns out it was more!
