Relic explores the real life horrors of old age and what it can do to a family. The tension builds slowly but with purpose towards a 3rd act that sticks the landing. When what lurks in the shadows is finally revealed it makes it all the more terrifying.

It seemed overcrowded and almost like it was trying too much too soon. Looking back on it now, Marc Webb has reined things in slightly and it was a decent and enjoyable film. It has some pretty major flaws sprinkled throughout but for what I was expecting, I feel satisfied.
