I like movies. They're fun.
Went in expecting Halloween 1978. I got Halloween 4 with a Shyamalan writing credit. I have never seen so much unnecessary exposition in a film whose genesis dates back +40 years and involves a basic story everyone under dementia and over 10 already know. Maybe that’s what it is? Alzheimer’s Disease? The only thing to explain a rehash of eye-roll inducing tropes is that everyone involved with this franchise keeps getting their memories wiped after each failed attempt. But, hey, at least they’re not siblings now!
I guess this deserves a star for reiterating how great Halloween ‘78 is.
