    What I can tell you is Parasite is an exericse in lean, nimble pacing and dexterous tonal shifts. With credit due to both the screenplay and the direction, it manages to create one of those filmic environments where anything seems possible. The result is a picture that covers a lot of ground and eludes simple characterization, but in short it functions as a surreal and darkly absurd dramedy with ruminations on class brooding in the subtext.
