Alex’s review published on Letterboxd:
Poetic, haunting and strangely moving; TAJJ is one of my all time favourite films. Although shaky at times, Brad Pitt delivers some of his all-time best work. Casey Affleck is simply astounding. The final 20 minutes are what I call powerfully melancholy, and really highlight the importance of narration in the film, one of the rare times I can say that. Roger Deakins' work here is mind-blowing; I could watch the train robbery all day.
