The poetic, emotive tone flowing through this film is hard not to be swept up in. Ultimately though, I felt it masked a lack of characterisation depth, as only vague feelings and motives are ever explored in our two protagonists. That being said, it's brilliantly done and I wouldn't blame anyone for buying in completely.
A striking Irene Jacob's performance and equally impressive cinematography don't hurt either.
