Chose this as a plane movie and it was a great choice. Charming film, even if it includes a guy not letting a woman spend her own money because he knows better. The chemistry between Gable and Colbert is great and leads to some fun bits, like when they have to pretend to be an argumentative married couple. A perfectly pleasant, simple watch that's not too dated to enjoy.

Awesome premise and enjoyable leads. Can't help feeling like I wanted something a little "more", even if I can't say what the "more" would be. I liked the fun editing and confident direction, though. Very easy watch, even if it ultimately feels like a merely solid execution of a good gimmick.

Wow this movie is trash. I've never seen a more blatant cash grab with IP. At least The Mean One had some fun and a reverence for the source material. This is a plodding, underexposed mess of a movie with a script that barely makes any sense at all. I try to be nice to movies nowadays because I know that making them isn't easy, but there aren't many things I can say about this one that are nice. I guess I liked Eeyore's tail being used as a whip, and some of the actors didn't embarass themselves. Fuck, this was bad.
