    A film that wouldn't get made this way today, which is a shame as the perspective of Nino is valid, even if perversely teen narcissistic., and the perspective of Angela, even through such an oppressive patriarchal lens, contains such an intensity of free will and fuck you that it almost (almost) feels ok to celebrate.

    All told through the visual symbolism of pure giallo shock and dread.

    For me this was manna from a flickering heaven.
