My goodness what a wonderfully paced kidnap suspenser this is. Isabella Huppert and Chloe Grace Moretz (CGM) play off one another perfectly. Huppert is appropriately understated with just the right amount of unhinged to avoid going overboard while CGM gives yet another well-rounded performance. There's just enough of an off kilter feel throughout the movie that maybe, just maybe CGM won't make it out alive at the end.
