I don't exactly remember what rating I gave the first Paddington film. All I remember was that it was kinda...perfect. The themes of kindness and overall togetherness that were sewn so carefully into the film shined through to the point where I felt the overwhelming urge to buy a Paddington Bear doll. All of the actors were splendid, even Nicole Kidman playing the wild antagonist of the film. At its core, the whole movie was charm personified.
