the philosophy of this is actually so fascinating and terrifying.... a 13 year old girl is seemingly thrown into a wormhole and when she comes out the other end she is 30 years old in an alternate universe, but she was also living and alive for all those years.... unconscious in her vessel, on bitchy autopilot..... and in the end goes back through the wormhole and ends up back in her original universe as her 13 year old self again, but older, and wiser....... donnie darko has nothing on this movie ALSO it’s one of the funniest films ever made, for example: when jenna’s assistant says “eminem’s on the phone, he wants a decision now” and jenna studders and says “plain. peanut. plain!”
