this was my faaaaaavorite movie when I was little. my favorite. we had the Nickelodeon-orange VHS tape of it.
I rewatched it with my sister last night for nostalgia's sake and we both cried! I started to wonder how much of who I am could be attributed to the obsessive nature with which I viewed this movie as a kid. like, Harriet might be a more integral part to my identity than I even understand! I just related (and continued to relate) to her so deeply, it's nuts to rewatch now. very emotional.

so Emma Stone is the prettiest girl in the world, right?
