    Eyes Wide Shut

With the intimacy and the way it was shot, colors and the dialogue, it all so reminds me of Lynch but it felt a little too serious to me. I hate having to guess the underlying message, specially in a movie with so much substance. I wish I could look into Kubricks mind to see what he was thinking with this one. And the ominous piano note actually gave me a headache

  • Wind River

    Wind River

Jeremy Renner takes this down a notch. The characters feel very shallow, and Renner's try hard attitude takes me out at times, but still really touching and heartbreaking.

  • Mission: Impossible - Fallout

    Mission: Impossible - Fallout

Everyone knows how awesome these movies are, its a suprise to no one but one thing that always rubbed me the wrong way is just how many things always go right for Ethan Hunt, so many tight calls that after a point there are just too many. The story plays so much like a video game or something Other than that this is one of the most thrilling and satisfying action movies of the century and the scenery in this…

  • Honeyland

I knew this was a documentary beforehand but completely forgot while watching. The arrival of the loud nomadic family feels like a legitimate plot twist and makes this feel less genuine, but at the same time more captivating and interesting as it follows almost legitimate plot line. You cant help but feel bad for everyone involved but there is something so embarrasing, and this is probably more enhanced in my experience because I too am from a Balkan country, but…

  • Belly

For any hip hop connoisseur this is a must watch. Even with a confusing and disconnected plot it manages to get the point across, and the style and colors and the superstar screen presence is so mesmerazing it more than makes up for it. DMX is such a legend, R.I.P. to one of the greatest to ever do it

  • Minari

David: pranks his grandma to drink his pee
Grandma: this is some serious gourmet shit

  • Moonlight

Spoilers ahead, when they announced Mahershala's character had died off screen, I was down feeling some type of way for like the next 45 minutes. Juan really stole the show and killing him off like that really left me wanting something more for the rest of the movie. That was the only part that correlated with me, I thought Chiron's character was kinda lacking. Someone said they can really imagine Juan, Teresa and the rest having a life off screen, but Chiron really felt just like a character in a movie, and that is spot on for me. Really pretty movie tho

  • Skyfall

Sorry, yes the plot is great and exists for a change(not looking at you casino royale), characters are memorable and with clear motives, the pacing is just perfect, action scenes are thrilling and cinematography is well, lets just say sir roger deakins does not miss, but every time i saw ralph fiennes all I could think was AAAAVADA KEDAVRA

  • Primer

Hey, this thing aint 77 minutes long, its at least 4 hours long with all the youtube toturials, google articals and rewatches, and I still dont get it! Dont believe me? Put a finger in your ass

  • Trading Places

    Trading Places

Crazy to think Eddie Murphy peaked in his 2nd ever major movie appearance. All the characters are carboard cutout cliches but who cares, this is a great comedy, christmas movie, capitalism critique, racism critique(?) and insight into stock market (which is done totally wrong). Story is majorly overblown and simplistic, but Eddie Murphy saying "get the fuck out" and Jamie Lee Curtis being naked for absolutely no reason is worth 4 stars alone.

  • Palm Springs

    Palm Springs

This is like the most feel good movie ever

  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

It was in this one that Dumbledore woke up and chose violence
