this was the time. this was the rewatch that said, this movie deserves five freaking stars.
everything about it is just magnificent, the acting, the directing, the cast, the script, THE ENDING, everything.
i'm so glad this movie exists.
i mean it was good but something about xavier dying so easily did not add up to me.
besides from that,,, christine and stephen 😭😭
on a more serious note. i really enjoyed how strange is developing in the upcoming movies, he’s come so far. i did feel that he lost a lot of main character attention due to wanda and since it it well,,, his movie,,, i didn't appreciate that.
holy freaking hell. what the fuck. but what the fuck in a really good way, i don't even know if it makes sense.
both pattinson and dafoe were BREATHTAKING, i’m out of words. i really hope directors keep making movies like this one bc this was different and amazing. it's a big break from most of the recent movies that all
move along the same topic. not sure why i waited so long to see this but i'll forever regret not going to the cinema for this one.
this movie is so good. i watched the series first (which is one of the best shows to ever exist) so i was kind of familiarized with this content. the one thing i would’ve done differently would be the duration. it's WAY too short and it could’ve easily lasted 2:30 hours instead of 1:30 but I’m just complaining bc i needed more content since it was a gem.
this movie hurts my soul. apart from all the deep stuff it covers, i just want to highlight paul dano's character. he really is the sweetest man and really cares about mija, he's always keeping track and protecting her.
also dr. wilcox is so funny yet his character is so freaking scary. idk how to explain it but he is so fucked up it freaks me out.
the scene where okja takes the little piggy in her mouth just so she could protect him, excuse me while i go cry.
