Such a unique product of Brazilian culture, who would have thought this little film would create so much drama among cinephiles worldwide.
But congrats, Letterboxd racist trolls. You finally won!
You complained so hard about this film and others being on top of lists Letterboxd finally listened and changed its rating algorithm to be just like you: racist!

OMG!!! This is the most incredible little movie I have ever seen!!!

I'm so happy I watched it, I can't even describe how much I enjoyed it, seriously. Confusing, but very well organized, the film respects its own rules and creates this awesome universe with endless possibilities. I didn't want it to ever end, it was just so much fun! The actors were amazing, the camera work was perfect and the story was cute and original. All of that with…

    This is cinema, my friends!
A simple, slow, and adorable little movie about real life and the honest connections we make with people. Hard to believe both actors are in their 40s, but the truly are and it's amazing to get romantic drama about people this age who still feel lost sometimes. Because that's how life is, it doesn't matter how old you are - feeling are always complex and you're never sure. Thank you, Celine!

Funny, original, and crazy, this is one of those perfect movies to watch when you're trying to have a great time. Together with Theater Camp, these are my favorite comedies of the year!

Gorgeous GPS-less young gay men go on a road trip from southern Italy to the German Alps while getting to know each other.

That's it, cute and unpretentious, this movie starts slow and is far from perfect when it comes to technical aspects and even writing. But at the same time, the strong final act, the down to earth atmosphere, the honest acting, the amazing soundtrack, and the jaw-dropping setting makes this much more memorable than one could imagine. Not…

    Sundance 2022

I was already expecting a great film, but You Won't Be Alone is beyond great! A truly philosophical horror that takes you to places few stories are able to, this outstanding film is a unique examination of humanity through time, space, and gender.
Visually amazing and full of incredible performances, this is a film like no other. It will haunt you forever, but not for the usual reasons!
