Full disclosure: I have never read this book nor have I seen the 1984 film.

Buuuuut … man, I don’t get the hate this is getting. I thought it was a very entertaining film with excellent performances by the amazing Ryan Kiera Armstrong and Zac Efron.

The only two critiques I have is that the film was very dark - not thematically, but physically. I feel like the McGees live in a world that is perpetually poorly lit.

What can I say about The Departed? It was excellent! This is…

Brief Review: Drag Me To Hell
(One of my all-time favorite horror films.)

This is an Evil Dead movie and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.

I feel like this is a largely forgotten gem and will never understand why it is not held in higher regards by horror fans. First of all, it operates in the same campy, grotesque world as Evil Dead, with Sam Raimi’s signature dark humor on full display. Alison Lohman,…
