Dennis Duffy’s review published on Letterboxd:
Minimalist perfection. Lacks any kind of action or momentum, mostly existing on its own slowly paced wavelength, dropping its cynical characters into vast, desolate spaces just to take in the atmosphere. It works though because Carpenter’s angry, rebellious streak is in this movies blood and gives focus to a seemingly unfocused narrative. On some days it’s my favorite of his.
