Dennis Duffy’s review published on Letterboxd:
The kind of lean, rapidly cut and constantly in motion action filmmaking I’ve come to expect from Anderson. Especially love how he just drops you right in. No context here beyond the barest of essentials, surviving a world of monsters. Even though it’s all set in this vast, empty wasteland, he can’t help but trap these characters in inclosed environments and get all the use out of them that he can. One of the best dragon movies I can think of, great sense of scale and surprisingly detailed creature design, high quality stuff. Some wonderful humor too, could’ve watched Milla and Jaa’s dialogue free interactions for hours. Just a ton of fucking fun, idk what all of you wanted from a movie with this title.
