Dennis Duffy’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is M. Night’s body horror movie. Full on ridiculous in nearly every filmmaking aspect but I mean that in the absolute best way and it kills with an audience too, doesn’t matter if they’re on his wavelength or not. Attempts to depict the rapid marching of time and all of it’s messy emotions, making for a frequently awkward, even bewildering movie but Shyamalan’s emotional sincerity and talent for capturing elegant yet exciting imagery remains as strong as ever. Always here for an unabashedly weird thrill ride that wears it’s heart on it’s sleeve like this.
