Demons 2

Demons 2 ★★★½

Despite being a thinly veiled remake of the first movie (following the same plot beats and swapping a movie theatre for an apartment block), this is still a blast. Just as slime and blood-covered as its predecessor, Demons 2 also does the 'creature emerging from the TV' thing years before Ringu did.

There's so much to enjoy here: a demon child giving birth to a demon baby; '80's gym-goers vs demons in a car park; our heroes abseiling down the side of the apartment block being pursued by the lead demon.

I love these two films and wish there were ten more of them where they did a Die Hard and just swapped the locale each time. Demons on a ski-field. Demons on a Plane. Demons in the White house etc.
