Shout out to Doug Dillaman, from who I nicked most of this idea (and a few of its prompts).

I've been *exceedingly* bad at organizing groupwatches during my tenure as the admin of laserdisc.party, but also, y'know, a lot of us have, like, jobs and kids and other shit that just gets in the way of appointment leisure. But I have an idea for September: using a series of prompts, I will invite you to create your own personal film festival for the month. Call it an exercise in group curation.

And as is the case with actual film festivals, you're not bound by law to see everything you program; the joy is in the discovery.
