tom brings the goods. very sick jets, very formulaic script. but really none of the dialogue matters at all after you see a jet crest a mountaintop inverted.

definitely more enjoyable on second watch. first 10 minutes are some of nolan’s best work of his career. there are so many problems with the script, but my dumb brain still is secretly loving it every time pattinson is trying to explain how to do a temporal pincer manoeuvre through space-time. the backwards stuff is simply sick as hell. soundtrack is also unbelievably good and is certainly holding a lot of this thing together. would rewatch this over Inception every time.
