  Jen put this on randomly when we couldn’t decide what to watch and told me we could change it if we don’t like it within 5 minutes. I saw it was rated R so I kept holding out for something disturbing, but it must’ve been the number of fucks she yelled at the beginning or the random side boob. With an hour left, we started getting nervous, thinking this might be an intentional movie, and it was! Woof!

  Saw it in a full theater, which is the only way to see this movie. I was actually at a 4.5 through most of it from all the hilariously eerie scenes of M3gan staring at people and creeping them out. The humor was spot on. The downgrade for me was the inevitable ending where she’s stopped, with a super predictable callback of the daughter using the other robot to attack M3gan, then she (literally) comes crawling back, is killed again,…

  Absolutely loved it! I heard from so many friends that it was meh, and now I can’t understand why. The idea that UFOs are actually creatures and not ships is so good. The score was fantastic too. Felt very Signs-like, with everything tying together.

  Lol I actually loved everything about this movie. So strange throughout. Loved the snail hobby and dogs. Also if Affleck and the daughter were in their own movie, it’d be so wholesome. Parts of it felt like a Lifetime movie, but that’s why I loved it.

  
  Oh also, Affleck says he “builds web apps”, which is strangely specific, and Jen said, “Do people even build web apps anymore?” 💀
