Star Trek Beyond

The script is the good part - basically feels like a 2 part TV finale in a world with really high budgets which somehow I don't mean as an insult - and it's still refreshing to see a summer blockbuster that is super self-contained and doesn't tease me for some future movie. It starts, and then it's over. But it's hampered intensely by shoddy editing, and it's not just the action editing that's bad. Seems like someone forcefully took 20 minutes out of this film by removing all the breathing room in 20 second increments. It needed it. Still, it's fun. Whatever. Weeeeeee
