I will vote Hazel as one of the most unlikeable character I've ever watched in my life. It is just plain flat, and she's a far cry from being funny nor smart as Gus claimed her to be at the end. Really? You would travel miles away risking your own life to know the ending of a fiction book which by the way you have asked the writer in the email and he already refused to tell you so.

I wept like a baby, this one is too fucking real.
I expected this will be another sappy romantic comedy ala Nancy Meyers, turns out it's a perfect combination of mainstream and indie. One of the best break-up movie, give it a try.

Exceptional details, I think this is by far the most crafted film Wes has ever done. Also, I would like to tip my hat off to Ralph Fienes, truly amazing performance, he helps set the tone of the movie as well. But in terms of the story, something is missing. I feel like I wasn't glued to my seat for the whole experience, unlike what The Royal Tenenbaums did to me. I don't know, perhaps because The Royal Tenenbaums was the first Wes's film I've ever watched, so it wins a soft spot in my heart that would be very hard to be replaced.

Surprisingly great! I'm actually not a fan of Will Farrell, but this one is an exception. Loving performance from Maggie and brilliant Emma Thompson really stands out in bringing Ms. Eiffel character to life. At first I might feel don't even care about Harold, but in the end, as the story and character develop, you will feel empathy to his life. Overall, this movie might be light but seriously worth watching.
