  • Sing

    Sing 2016

    ★★★★ Watched by DevilMatt 18 Jul 2019

My daughters favourite movie and therefore my favourite movie. I guess. It’s genuinely great, heartwarming, smart, short and does well on repeat viewings...thank god

More like fucking terrible man. A mess. A total nonsense sea of fakeness and bullshit and rubbish.

  • Captain Marvel

    Captain Marvel 2019

    ★★★½ Watched by DevilMatt 18 Jul 2019

A lot to like and admire, and a lot to be underwhelmed by. I really did enjoy it a lot, but I had little to no desire to see it again after it finished. Which is a shame I guess...?

  • Blockers

    Blockers 2018

    ★★★ Watched by DevilMatt 18 Jul 2019

The most 3/5 comedy movie in existence.

  • Avengers: Endgame

    Avengers: Endgame 2019

    ★★★★ Watched by DevilMatt 18 Jul 2019

Brilliant and stupid and annoying and awesome all in equal measure and I can’t wait to watch it again. Fair play marvel.

  • Avengers: Infinity War

    Avengers: Infinity War 2018

    ★★★★½ Watched by DevilMatt 18 Jul 2019

Incredible. Like a big bag of candy and (for me) nostalgia thrown into my eyes for 3 hours. Loved it. Vision still sucks.

  • Beetlejuice

    Beetlejuice 1988

    ★★★½ Watched by DevilMatt 26 Nov 2017

Is 3 and a half harsh for this film? It looses a star or half a star for the slightly let down finale...it’s still wonderful and silly and dark and funny and gross.

  • The Circle

    The Circle 2017

    ★★ Watched by DevilMatt 26 Nov 2017

A film so made of nothing, with people walking around saying lines and interacting without any real purpose or care...it’s annoying, pretentious and just a bit...obvious. But the cast is strong....I guess

  • Mad Max: Fury Road

    Mad Max: Fury Road 2015

    ★★★★★ Rewatched by DevilMatt 26 Nov 2017

    Watched it again...crazy good.

  • Spider-Man: Homecoming

    Spider-Man: Homecoming 2017

    ★★★½ Watched by DevilMatt 26 Nov 2017

Fun, fast, and very young. Perhaps the first marvel movie I’ve felt too old for, but great casting and a snappy story keeps this moving along nicely. Also about 10 times better than TASM2. Yikes.

  • Romancing the Stone

    Romancing the Stone 1984

    ★★★ Watched by DevilMatt 26 Nov 2017

A good 80s classic that perhaps hasn’t aged THAT well, but still a brilliant duo.
