Letterboxd — Your life in film

A lot to like and admire, and a lot to be underwhelmed by. I really did enjoy it a lot, but I had little to no desire to see it again after it finished. Which is a shame I guess...?

Is 3 and a half harsh for this film? It looses a star or half a star for the slightly let down finale...it’s still wonderful and silly and dark and funny and gross.

Fun, fast, and very young. Perhaps the first marvel movie I’ve felt too old for, but great casting and a snappy story keeps this moving along nicely. Also about 10 times better than TASM2. Yikes.

Impressive, sure...enjoyable, totally....heart and guts of a great film? No...

Almost great, not quite brilliant, though some exceptional acting

Likeable and perfectly well made with an incredibly likeable lead but...something was missing for me

Bad but good...will make you laugh, but literally nothing else
