All the Cities of the North ★★★½

Reminded me vaguely of COLUMBUS in its architectural photography, but almost nothing else; it's *far* more experimental and obscure, chronicling the inhabitants of an abandoned building in detached detail, leaving words to voice-over, putting the slow back in slow cinema. I kind of loved it, would have gone four stars bar a melodramatic touch at the end, but it's nonetheless a gentle, visually striking interrogation of the relationship between the building industry and the way as humans we wish to live.
