Doug Dillaman’s review published on Letterboxd :
That Monty Python style of animation works wonders on fantastic creatures and technology but gives me hives on human beings, so my aesthetic response to this was ludicrously schizophrenic, ping-ponging from rapture to annoyance and back several hundred times in 74 minutes. Story-wise, I have a soft spot for the seemingly-forgotten genre of "we only really have a plot as an excuse to wander around this weird-ass world we've created. Sound wise, I dunno if it's the theatre's fault or the 70s sound mix, but elements of this were piercingly painful, which is a shame as I generally dug the music otherwise.
All in all, a mixed bag that I felt slightly ashamed for watching before midnight on no substances except a whipped sorbet bar.
