Quite simply, I loved this movie. It’s batastic & it’s my first 5/5 film of 2022!

Is this another grounded and gritty Batman movie? Yes, but like 2008’s The Dark Knight, this movie is so much more than that. The Batman feels less like a typical superhero movie and more like a detective noir crime thriller that also happens to feature Batman. It has a murder mystery aspect to it that feels straight out of a David Fincher film like Se7en or Zodiac. And…

    YOU KNOW… I’M SOMETHING OF A SPIDER-MAN FAN MYSELF.

Best Spider-Man movie of all time and I won’t be told differently. This movie was everything I wanted it to be and more and it already has a special place in my heart. It may be one of my new all time favorite movies period and I DON’T CARE IF MY BIAS IS SHOWING. Just let me have this.

“I am not your failure, Obi-Wan. You didn’t kill Anakin Skywalker… I did.”
     - Darth Vader in Episode 6 of “Obi-Wan Kenobi”

While far from perfect, “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is still my favorite Star Wars series yet. Seeing Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christiansen share the screen together again as Obi-Wan and Anakin/Vader is enough to make a grown man cry. And the final confrontation between the 2 is one of the greatest Star Wars moments I’ve personally ever seen. I can tell I’m going to be thinking about it for the rest of my life.

“Everything Everywhere All At Once” is everything going to the movies should be about. I can confidently say this is one of the most original and unique pieces of cinema I’ve ever laid (googly) eyes on. It’s a masterpiece.
